In the latest development, the company had announced an event in Beijing on 16th November. And this news might come as a pleasant surprise for Vivo lovers and customers who are in search of new smartphones to gratify their upgraded needs. Yes, Vivo is all set to launch two more smart phones at the event – X9 and X9 Plus – amidst great fanfare!

Display and Looks:
Both X9 and X9 Plus sport dual selfie cameras for amazing selfies and better video calling experiences. The phones have a single back camera with LED flash. The leaks reveal that the sensors of the camera unit are 20 mega pixels and 8 mega pixels respectively. These smart phones are expected to come with Sony Exmor IMX 260 lenses.
The phones will be available in Rose gold variant with the fingerprint sensor. The fingertip sensor is present underneath the home button below the screen. The X9 version will be available with complete HD display of 5.5 inches and the same screen resolution. On the other hand, the X9 Plus version is expected to be larger in size with complete HD display of 5.85 inches while the resolution of the screen is intended to be 1080 X 1920 pixels.
In both the models, screen protection is provided via Gorilla Glass 5, the universal audio jack is present beneath as usual, while the volume and lock buttons are located on the right side of the smartphones.
Processor and Memory:
It is revealed that the both smartphone models will be equipped with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chipset for a faster and better performance.
The phones will vary in terms of RAM, where the base version, i.e., X9, would sport 4 GB RAM while the advanced version, i.e., X9 Plus, which is larger in size, will have a 6 GB RAM.
The smartphones will be rolled out with Android 5.1 Lollipop with advanced device protection, smarter wi-fi, and bluetooth connectivity.
The battery specifications for the smart phones state that the phones have 3920 mAh battery certified by TENNA. The smart phone houses the USB Type-C port for charging the battery near the audio jack on the lower edge of the smart phone.
