More than 41 million Android users have already upgraded to the latest version with flash messaging. The feature enables users who prefer conversing on text, a one tap panacea to reply, call back, or just share the location. Moreover, this feature lets users set or customize the predefined messages.
Benefits of using the new feature:
Flash message would aid users to circumvent overflow of SMS inboxes and quick calls. The feature is a big time savior where the Smartphone user is unable to take calls or send long text messages; the compact customized messages will be a relief. This feature causes urgency of the call unaltered but an easier way out to solve the problem via messages.
How this feature works:
Go to the App Store in iOS or the Play Store in Android to update to the latest version of the true caller. The ‘Flash’ update can be seen in ‘What’s New’ section under the description. The user can choose not to receive or send flash messages. To do so, go to settings in the true caller, tap flash and user can disable the flash messages.
A tiny blue flash symbol can be spotted beside the contact name if the contact also has true caller installed and updated to the latest version.
After tapping the flash icon, a pop-up will arrive, where the user can send the messages from a list of options available. The receiver receives the message in pop up from along with the automated options to reply with.
The company has successfully rolled out the feature for iPhone users. Henceforth, the Truecaller iOS users can also use the feature to communicate with a one-tap response.
