Here is the quick fix to all those who have their eyes fixed on the launch of the brand new iPhone 7 and & plus.
The iPhone 7 has a 4.7-inch TrueTone display with a resolution of 1334×750 pixels. The larger iPhone 7 Plus has a similar screen but with a larger 5.5-inch full HD resolution. The phone retains a IPS screen and also gets the TrueTone wide gamut display technology. Like the iPhone 6 , this one also features the pressure sensitive display technology. This technology has been extended not just in the main display screen but also on the home button which is less of a button and more of a pressure sensitive screen with added functionalities. We can hope this to be more durable since the apple home button has always had a lot of complaints.
An even more noticeable thing is the design of the phone. The look and the feel is more or less the same as of the iPhone 6s, the design has been finely modified for good. The most striking change is the removal of the antenna line on the back of the body while the one that runs through the edge remains.Apple has also made the phone water and dust resistant with an IP67 certification which means the device can be submerged in 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes, whiout getting soiled.
The 3.5mm headphone jack has also been removed and replaced by the lighting connector, and we are guessing all for the better. This same port will be used for charging and connecting other accessories to the phone. To make the lightning port more viable and usable apple has also launched lightning enabled earpods and also lightning adapter that users can use to connect their existing headphones to iPhone 7.
Apple has also unveiled the new generation of wireless earphone called the AirPods and they are powered by the new apple chip called W1. These will give 5 hours performance on a single charge and will be sold separately.
iPhone 7 has massively upgraded its rear camera. The standard model retains the 12-megapixel sensor, but now it comes with a wider f/1.8 aperture, larger sensor and optical image stabilization. This means massive improvements in image quality over the iPhone 6S. It has also redone the TrueTone flash added two more LEDs and also a flicker sensor.
Even better is the camera for iPhone 7 plus model. This model features not one, but two 12-megapixel cameras which come with new technology that allows users to stitch both the images together and allow for some zooming capabilities in images without pixelation. How it works? Apple does this by providing a 28mm wide angle lens and a telephoto lens. There's 2x of optical zoom, but the phone can have 10x software enabled zoom which will be better than standard digital zoom which normally results in a massive drop in quality. Apple has announced the iPhone 7 Plus will also get a software update for a new portrait mode in the camera. It will give shallow depth of field in portrait shots. Are you too wondering what to do with your DSLRs?
The rear camera also got an upgrade over iPhone 6s. It supports live photos and 4K video. It has a 7-megapixel camera and the screen also lights up as a flash.
To cope up with the iOS 10, upgraded camera, secondary speakers and other such features, apple has improved its battery too.
What makes iPhone the fastest phone in the market? iPhone 7 is powered by the A10 fusion four core processor, from which the two cores are 40 percent faster than the dual-core A9 processor on the iPhone 6S. Also, there are two low power cores. The new GPU on the iPhone 750 percent faster. So , it is the fastest phone in the market and has no competition whatsoever.
The new Jet black colour will be reserved for the 128GB and 256GB while other colors will be available in 32GB , 128GB and 256GB.
iPhone 7 will start sale in US on September 16th and in India from October 7th and under Rs.60,000.
