Samsung disappointed many with the launching of the next avatar of its Note string. The launch of Galaxy Note 7 happened in New York with a striking event. But the launch wasn't so grand for the users who had high expectations caused by the rumours that floated before the launch.

The market had massive speculations that the new version of the series would sport a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Samsung killed the rumours as it launched Note 7 with an LPDDR4 RAM of 4GB and 64GB of inbuilt storage.

Recently a new listing on certification site Tenaa nods that China could particularly get the variant of the rumours. So at least Chinese users can expect a 6GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage variant of the phone. The Phone will wear hybrid SIM slot for further expansion of the storage, but a 128 GB storage limit itself diminishes the need for external SD card.

China is a huge market for smartphones. Also, the competition becomes severe given some 6GB smartphones like OnePlus-3 already gettable in the Chinese market. Thus launching a variant having better memory would be a sensible decision for Samsung to avoid losing the memory battle in that market. As of now, Samsung China website only lists the 4GB variant, and there is no word on the one with 6GB.

Coming to India, Samsung recently launched the Note 7 which is going to hit the markets from September 2nd onwards. The biggest rarity of the launch is the iris scanner, which debuted in Samsung. The phone also features a dual-edge display and an improved S-Pen with IP68 dust and water resistant.

In India, the variant launched sports 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It has 5.7-inches QHD dual-edge Super AMOLED display, a 12-megapixel rear camera with dual-pixel, a 5-megapixel front camera, a 3500mAh battery, and NFC support. Users have two processor options of Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 and Exynos 8893 SoCs to select.
