New Logitech Flow software to allow multi-computer functionality with a single mouse
Logitech, a leading company in consumer technology, has announced futuristic new software, Logitech Flow that will provide a seamless control up to three computers using a single mouse. The company’s two new mouse devices, the MX Master 2S and MX Anywhere 2S will be saviors for techies who are looking for wireless technology.
Cluster Category Head – India and South West Asia, Mr. Ashok Jangra, stated during the launch that technology is continuously evolving, day by day. And this advancement causes the tech demands to go up. Nowadays, people use multiple computers and multiple platforms simultaneously. As a result, they face a challenging situation while switching between the controlling devices. Logitech is helping such customers by providing technology solutions that can help the user to enhance the performance and speed up the operations by avoiding distraction. Logitech Flow intends to provide users the unprecedented and effective solution to toggle between multiple systems.
How it works:
The software, Logitech Flow, is available for free download. It collaborates with the MX Master 2S and MX Anywhere 2S and allows users to switch between the computers easily. Users can effortlessly copy and paste information, images, and files between the computers.
Users need to download the software in the systems and then use the wireless mouse devices to switch between the computers and perform the desired operations.
Features of the mouse devices: What all to look forward to
With the looks of a usual mouse, these new mice and are designed elegantly to fit into the hands correctly. The shape is such that allows user’s wrist stay in a relaxed and natural, and a proper support is provided to the hand. There is an adjacent wheel for side to side scrolling in MX Mater 2S along with an adaptive scroll wheel that adapts itself from click-to-click to fast scroll functions.
The Logitech MX Anywhere 2S looks similar with a slimmer look and is designed for travel purpose. The mouse can be used even on the go.
The mice have Darkfield technology embedded. This enables optical and traditional laser mice to understand the movement and speed of motion despite the irregularities on the surface and prepare a micro-roadmap of the surface beneath, for better precision. The resolution of the mice is 4000 DPI which enables the user for quick control of the cursor. Moreover, the mice can track on any surface, be it glass.
The mice come with a battery that can last up to 70 days on a single full charge. It depends on the usage of the mice.
Price and Availability:
The Logitech Flow technology mice will be available in June 2017. The price for MX Master 2S is expected to be be INR 7,995 while the MX Anywhere 2S will be available for a price of INR 5,995.
Logitech has launched another cheaper mouse compatible with Logitech Flow, Logitech M585 multi-device mouse. The mouse is available at selected stores at a price of INR 2,395.
