HTC 10 Evo Review
The HTC 10 EVO Smartphone was launched in November 2016. HTC started its operations in 1997 where they were only manufacturing laptops. However soon after, the Taiwan based HTC Company started launching smart phones, and released their first Smartphone, the HTC dream, in 2008. The HTC 10 EVO is one of their latest models and has a 16 megapixel primary camera and an 8 megapixel front camera for taking amazing selfies.
The Design and Display
The HTC 10 EVO has a 5.5 inch touch screen display that has a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The LCD screen is of high quality and shows details, making this a better experience for watching videos or looking at photos. The phone has better viewing angles which mean that it does not have issues like strange banding which is when you tilt your phone to the side and the colors on the screen start to shake or look fuzzy.
The display of the phone is covered with a corning gorilla glass 5 which is a new glass solution that prevents your phone from breaking or shattering the screen each time it falls from a height. The glass protects your touch sensitivity and optical clarity on the screen, keeping your phone screen safe from getting damaged in case of dropping it.
The HTC 10 EVO has an Octa core QUALCOMM snapdragon 810 processor which comes with a 3GB RAM. The phones come with a 32GB internal storage but it has the ability to add more storage and can expand up to 2GB with a microSD card.
The phone has a 16 megapixel primary camera and an 8 mega pixels front camera which are both great for taking excellent resolution photos, even during low light conditions.
Battery Life and Other Features
The HTC 10 EVO runs on the Android 7.0 and has a non-removable battery of 3200 mAH. The phone has a strong battery life meaning you can use the phone the entire day and it won’t die. The phone supports a single nano-SIM. It has connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM, 3G and 4G services. It has different types of sensors such as the proximity sensor, the accelerometer, the ambient light sensor, the gyroscope and the barometer.
Sound and Performance
The performance of the phone is top notch and is great for sending emails and browsing on Chrome, or sending messages through apps and more. The phone runs on the Snapdragon 810 CPU software. Due to its CPU software, the phone’s performance and speed is exceptionally fast, preventing it from lagging and performing slowly. This is one of the best features of this phone especially when you want to use your phone to play heavy games or use heavy apps. The phone consists of an HTC Boomsound adaptive audio system that lets your phone become a music system with its loud sound performance.
Though the phone comes with a lot of great features and specifications, it is not easy on the pocket.
