New Moto phone is about to hit the Indian markets with Lenovo sending invites to media for a launch event on September 19. With its latest upcoming smartphones of Moto E-series, there were some speculation about which variant will be launched in India. Although, if we go by the rumours and current claims by the company, Moto E3 Power is a big name decided for Indian stores based on the social media posts and invites.
Lenovo on late Monday confirmed through a tweet that their latest Moto smartphone will be available exclusively on Flipkart. The e-business retailer has also launched a page dedicated to Moto E3 Power on their website. As for now, people are wondering if Moto E3 will be able to make it to the stores in India along with Moto E3 Power on September 19 or later.
This Moto phone is an upgraded version of Moto E3 launched last month. It was accessible in the Hong Kong markets for HKD 1,098 (about Rs. 9,500). However, this new version dons a bigger battery, more memory as well as high on-board storage.
As for its configuration, Moto E3 Power boasts of a 5-inch HD IPS screen along with a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and autofocus. A 5-megapixel selfie camera is also featured by the device. The phone is powered with 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor supporting a RAM of 2GB. Moto E3 Power is backed by 3500mAh battery with other options including 4G LTE, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth. It sports an internal memory of 16 GB with an expandable micros slot up to 128 GB. The device runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow offering a dual-SIM slot (micro) option.
