OnePlus 3 sales on hold in 23 European Countries
The unprecedented demand for the new Smartphone OnePlus 3 has compelled the company to give a break to its sale. The new device gained praise for all its specifications. The latest flagship's hardware and software received an immense response which led to a greater curiosity among the users.
Carl Pei, the co-founder of OnePlus Group in a blog post disclosed the temporary suspension of OnePlus 3 sale in Hongkong and some European Countries. Failure of the company to keep up with the demands of the new phone accounts for the discontinued sale. The blog said that the sale would be on a halt from August 9 to September 12.
Carl Pei in the blog said- "We are working hard to secure more stock and fire up more production. We want to fulfil our goal of putting premium products into the hands of as many people as possible."
The halt affects 23 European countries including Austria, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, and Spain. The company seems not in a good position to meet the heavy demands from Europe. It needs some time to replenish its catalogues. It has opened an avalanche of criticism for OnePlus.
People around the world condemned OnePlus for not meeting up the demands of the new device. Earlier, the company used the system of invite for previous devices owing to the limitation of its manufacturing scope. This time, the company decided to give away that idea, but it wasn't endowed enough to fulfil the rainy demand.
We also came across a fascinating point on GFXBench. A smartphone with almost similar specifications arose on the site. PhoneArena reports the only differentiating feature to be the screen size (4.6 inches). The device can be a celebrity with an alias of OnePlus 3 Mini.
GFXBench mentioned that the phone has full HD resolutions (1080x1920p). It has the processor Snapdragon 820 SoC and the Adreno 530 GPU. Quite alike the OnePlus 3 it has 6GB RAM. Inbuilt storage of the device is 64GB.
There are no clues about the connections of the device with OnePlus family. It just seems to be a mini variant of the famed model.
